MCPS was originally established in 1999 by Glenn English and purchased the established anode alloy brands since 1977 of A-Guard®, M-Guard®, Z-Guard® for Aluminium, Magnesium and Zinc alloys respectively. In 2005 we combined both operations at our state-of-the-art anode manufacturing facility in South Shields, UK where we remain today.
MCPS has a certified Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and DNV-GL Type Approval of Aluminium-Zinc-Indium Alloy Anodes, A-Guard® in accordance with the testing laid out in 2006 edition.
We provide all clients with high quality products that are Inspected in accordance with NACE SP0387-2006, DNV-RP-B401 and client specifications for Aluminium (Al-Zn-In) and Zinc Galvanic Anodes. Our Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and Marine Growth Prevention System (MGPS) have approved cofferdams for hull penetration and Factor Acceptance Testing of control power units. All products are backed up with full documentation and certification.
